Starts 10am on Saturday 2 September 2017
The league will run by on weekends. After the first day we will be able to see if we can get through enough rounds on the Saturday or if we need to continue the season over another 2 or 3 weekend days. The league runs in teams of 3 but just turn up by yourself on the Saturday and we’ll put everyone into teams that are close to even in terms of skill.
Check back here regularly as over the next few days we’ll be posting the basic rules of the game. We’ll also run over them and have people on hand during the league to help players out.
To be eligible for the World Juniors, all juniors must play 36 frames or 12 rounds of the league. Typically over a year our juniors play 3 seasons and well over 100 frames of league play. The junior league is open to all players who are aged between 7 and 20 years old as of December 31, 2017.
League points will be used for selection of New Zealand teams to compete at the 2018 VNEA World Junior Pool Championships in Sioux City Nebraska, USA, with flights, accommodation, uniforms and entry fees sponsored by Massé! The Hawera junior league will be represented in the NZ team so enter now and you could get the chance to head over to the USA to play pool in the VNEA World Junior Championships next year!Enter by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
